Subscribers have commended Globacom for crashing rates to 30 kobo per second on its Talkmore package. Mr. Eugene Eboka, who runs a manufacturing outfit in Lagos, while on a visit to the Lagos Regional office of Globacom, said his business had received a major boost since he changed to Glo Talkmore. He said it allowed him to  make more calls to customers and loved ones.

He said reducing the call rate to 30 kobo per second met the yearnings of  Nigerians going by volume of calls they make on daily  basis.

"If you are like me who makes many calls in overseeing my business, then you will appreciate the benefits of being on  Talkmore, which has enabled me to maximise my investments," Eboka stated.
In the same vein, Andrew Onwumere, a student of one of the tertiary institutions in Lagos, said he had been enjoying the benefits  offered by Glo Talkmore since it was introduced.

"I never knew I could save so much until I read about the offer. Immediately I activated it on my line, I have been able to make more calls for the same amount of airtime that I used before now."

Alhaji Ahmed Shehu, who deals in foreign exchange at Mallam Aminu Kano Airport, Kano, also expressed delight at the introduction of Talkmore by Globacom.  He was full of praises for Globacom for the heavy reduction in call tariff for subscribers.

He said the savings from the Talkmore package had positive effects on his business. For Tawa Bakare, an Abuja-based trader, since he activated Glo Talkmore, "I have noticed that my credit does not  burn out quickly. I am able to call more people and I have also got my friends to sign on to the package so that we can all enjoy the benefits of Talkmore.”

Glo Talkmore, which was introduced last December, gives Glo subscribers the opportunity of Glo to Glo calls at the rate of 30 kobo per second and a maximum of N18 per minute. Similarly, Glo subscribers pay 60 kobo per second and a maximum of N36 per minute for calls to other networks.

The package is available to prepaid subscribers existing on the network and new subscribers. Buoyed by the positive testimonies by subscribers, Globacom, in a press statement, showed  appreciation to its numerous subscribers for keeping faith with the brand over the years.

Describing the package as a subscriber-win-all, Globacom's Group Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Mohamed Jameel, said that he was happy that Glo Talkmore has achieved its objective of giving subscribers the freedom to make more calls to their friends and family across the country.

"We are encouraged by the fact that Nigerians appreciate this gesture from Globacom and the value that Glo adds to their lives and businesses," he said.

He disclosed that the network, in recent times, has witnessed upsurge in the number of subscribers signing on to it, which is an indication of the benefits derivable from the package.

Jameel, described Glo Talkmore as a reward for subscribers' loyalty  in building the network through their patronage.

"Though the cost of operation continued to rise in this environment, we feel compelled to give our subscribers more value for money at affordable costs," Jameel said.

To migrate to the Talkmore platform, all a subscriber need to do is to dial the code   *100 * 1*2 # press SEND or the green button on the phone and then begin to enjoy the package.
