Visa Debit Card Promo: Access Bank sponsors winners to South Africa

ShareKeeping with its tradition of rewarding customers, Access Bank has extended to winners that emerged in its Visa debit card promo, an all-expense-paid trip to watch matches at the up-coming World Cup taking place in South Africa.
The five lucky winners include: Akata Stanley Ilebor of Agip Road, Port Harcourt branch; Olaniyan Anjorin of Oshogbo branch; Gershom Anyamaowei Abraham of Yenogoa branch; Onoh Samuel Chinedu of Trade Fair, Lagos branch, and Adam Mahmoud of Kaduna branch.
The first two winners will watch the Nigeria/Argentina match on June 12, the next two winners will watch the quarter final match while the fifth winner will watch the final match.
The lucky winners who were contacted on phone after the draws attended by industry players, were full of praises for Access Bank, stating that the bank has always made its word its bond.
According to a highly elated Onoh Samuel, traveling to South Africa to watch a World Cup match live is a dream come true, adding that he would forever treasure the opportunity and the bank that extended the gesture to him.
While lauding the Access Bank management, he urged Nigerians to open accounts and do business with the bank.
Speaking at the event, Access Bank’s Head, Card Products, E-Business and Payment Solutions, Mr. Celestine Okobi, explained that the promo was in line with the partnership between Visa International and FIFA to project major events such as the World Cup in South Africa, adding that it was also to boost the usage of the debit card.
He noted that the eligible customers for the draws who were over 100,000, were drawn from those that had used the debit cards for a minimum of four times via point of sale (POS), online, automated teller machine (ATM) and other outlets.
The lucky winners, who will be received by FIFA and Visa International officials in South Africa, are expected to spend three days and housed in four star international hotel, with a standby tour guide that will take them to places of interest.
