AFTER three years of struggling to make a headway in the music industry, Jabhless is on course to release his second album, even as “Joo” continues to enjoy air play on radio stations. The Ibadan Polytechnic graduate, basking in the success his single, “Joo,”
is enjoying, intends to take full advantage of the moment by releasing his album now.
“You strike when the rod is hot. I have to do something fast with the success Joo is enjoying,” he said.
One of the three signed on Yes Music, Jahbless is optimistic that the album would enjoy commercial success, asserting that “it has been well packaged to draw not only hip-hop lovers, but blues and rap lovers.
“I did some collabos, just as I tried out new producers, to come up with an album that won’t be boring and monotonous.
“I am so sure the album will do well in the market that we are already planning a nation-wide promotional tour.
“Right now, the head of promotion. Yes Music, has begun the leg-work and is in the East as we talk. He’s gone there to prepare ground for the tours.
“These and other activities has put the office in a joyous mood, knowing that the artistes on the label will soon embark on a tour. I’m happy to be on the label,” he said.
Other artistes on the label are G-Xploits and Iceberg.
