THE unassuming poet, Olanrewaju Adepoju, has churned out an album entitled: “Agbara Idibo”. The poet showcased his deep philosophical prowess, as well as a deep knowledge of Yoruba language, traditional
message and cultural delivery.
The album is a wake-up call for Nigerians, he says.
The poet blamed the FG for the poor state of things in the country, saying “ Nigeria is not moving, security has worsened". He wonders why Nigerians are silent for so long in suffering as the FG's scorecard is not encouraging.
The poet added that ”the 2011 general elections are tension-soaked due to the stiff opposition and tackles being received by the ruling party from the opposing parties. Also, the evils youth and their sponsor-politicians are perpetrating in this country are on the increase and human lives no longer have values.”
The poet in the flip side talked about “Death”, being inevitable, as it would come when it will come. He reminisced on MKO Abiola's death through conspiracy of the West.
