FIVE years after she released her last album, Evang. Bola Omotosho and her El-Shaddai Choral Ministry will launch her third album today (Nov 15, 2009) at the BCOS chapel, Ile-Akede in Bashorun, Ibadan.
Titled: “My Time To Rejoice,” the 16 track compilation took eight months of the evangelist’s life to prepare.
In her own efforts at propagating the gospel, she not only involved her son in the project, she also got over 20 others on it. “The more, the merrier. Besides, each of us had one or two different things to bring into the album.
We were out to make sure our message of salvation touches the lives of those who listen to this album,” informed Mrs. Omotosho.
The A side consists of 7 tracks, while the B has 8 songs on it. The album — title track is the last on side B.
“Basically, the album is to bring humans to a place of assurance in God’s promises that there is light at the end of the tunnel no matter the problems we face,” she added.
Omotosho’s first time out was in 1995. All songs in the album were composed by the lady.
Expected at the 12 noon album launch are Reverend (Dr.) K.A. Afolabi (GOMAN President), Pastor Kola Oyeniran (GOMAN Chairman), and several ministers of God.
