OVER 20,000 gospel music lovers stormed the ultra modern Auditorium of C.A.C Agbala-Itura Agege in Lagos on November 20, 2009, for the Plenti Praise concert organised by Israel Abiara & Judah 2k Band.
The all night concert got under way as K-po opened the floor with his song, "He Lives", which he did to the admiration of many. it was the best way to enter His presence. A dance group, Unique Steppers, brought in flair and drama that encapsulated the gathering, same for The Explicit Dance crew.
The first phase was rounded up by Vickie and her dance group. They were intermittent rib-cracking jokes from the MC, Oluwafred. Then came the host group, Israel Abiara & Judah 2k, the Youth Pastor of the church. Israel took charge of the stage, as exhibited an exceptional Afro-beat swagger.
Israel promised “to continually touch lives and win soul to God's kingdom”.
Precious Nkochukwu, Sammy Okposo, King Femi Opalemo, The Explicit, Dekunle Fuji, Alfa Sule Theatre Group, were among those that made night a memorable one for their fans.
The wee hour session was handled by Mike Aremu, who led people into a special worship with his saxophone before the fast-growing Gospel Fuji crooner, Okiki Jesu, who practically delayed the crowd till 6.00am, when he had them engulfed in his unique fuji rhythm.
