Zambia coach Herve Renard has registered his respect for Ghana at the Africa Cup of Nations, claiming the Black Stars are tactically perfect.

Renard, an assistant coach for Ghana during the 2008 tournament on home soil, says the 2010 Fifa World Cup quarterfinalist are on a different level in tactical terms.

"I was lucky to have my chance with Ghana, they are fantastic players. Tactically they are perfect because they all play at the highest level," the Frenchman said.

Renard sent a big statement out at the Nations Cup by beating a star-studded Senegal side 2-1 in their Group B clash.

He guided the Southern Africans to win bronze at the inaugural African Nations Championship in Ivory Coast two years ago.
