Igbo Evacuated from the North

insecurity in some parts of the North as a result of the activities of
Boko Haram, about 150 Igbos resident in Maiduguri, Borno State Thursday
fled the town as they were evacuated back home.
The returnees arrived the 9th Mile Corner, Enugu at the early hours of
Thursday, through the free luxury buses provided by IgboVille, a social
network of Igbo professional at home and in Diaspora.
Meanwhile, the General Officer Commanding (GOC), 3 Armored Division,
Jos, Major General Adamu Buba Marwa, has warned Boko Haram members to
steer clear off North-east states or face the full wrath of the Nigerian
Army.
In a statement signed by the division’s Assistant Director Army Public
Relations, Lt. Col. Andrew Idachaba, in Jos Thursday, the GOC gave the
warning on resumption of operation in Gombe State recently.
