Peacock Travels to package post-W/Cup tour for students

altOne of the foremost travel agencies in Nigeria, Peacock Travels and Tours, is packaging a holiday tour for students since schools were in session during the World Cup in Nigeria.

The agency made this known during the launching of its World Cup packages at its new office in Johannesburg. Executive Managing Director of the agency, Chief Segun Phillips, said part of the purpose of putting together the tour was to encourage Nigerians to visit the former White supremalists’country.

Peacock South Africa Manager, Ms. Rose Mabua, said the tour will enable the students to visit three provinces, which include Limpopo, North, West and Kwazulu-Natal provinces that would make the visit a memorable one for the students. It is packaged to be educative, informative, exciting, adventurous and  interactive.

The various packages, which include return economy class ticket; four to 13 nights’ accommodation; one to three, match tickets; and airport transfers to stadia in Johannesburg, Durbar and Bloemfontein.

The tours include several camp options, with duration ranging from three nights to eight nights.  According to Mabua, “Irrespective of the camp they choose, the students would have the privilege of having several educational programmes, sporting activities such as rafting, tubing, kettie paintball, Volley ball. 

 “We can assure you that students will resume back to school with a lot of excitement as a result of the experience they will have with us. Be aware also that there are several tour packages available even beyond the world cup games. So be assured that each time you deal with us the best awaits you.” 

Also,  apart from having its presence in the South African market, Chief Phillips said that “the uniqueness of the world cup packages has to do with; the introduction of the new improved travel insurance to the Nigerian public, adding it will not only take care of their medical needs but also cater for luggage loss, delay, travel delay, missed connection,  journey curtailment, and journey cancellation.”

According to Phillips, “Further to our highly competitive World Cup travel packages which includex several day tours, such as Sun-City Tour, Soweto tour and others that showcased the aesthetic significance as well as both the cultural and educational values of the South African nation in addition to the mundial itself.”
